Update: Evidently the Obama office wasn't an official Obama office, paid staffers will be in by the end of the week, and there was more than one Che flag about. Little Green Footballs also has a post. Now, I realize that Barack himself wasn't involved in this little flag flap, and that he would not approve... I just think it's interesting that these morons (and, yes, they are morons if they were too dense to realize who it was that they had plastered on the wall) got caught, as it were.
From HotAir, the following screencapture...
It's a Houston Obama for President office, complete with Che Guevara on a flag. Note the tiny photo of Obama to the left of the flag. See MyFox news video here.
What does it tell you about a campaign office that would have an image of Che Guevara hanging on its wall? From Wikipedia, we find out that "Guevara was assigned the role of "supreme prosecutor", overseeing the public show trials and executions of hundreds of military and civilian leaders associated with the previous regime." (emphasis added)
Is this the type of Change that Barack is speaking of?
As a Cuban-American, granddaughter of a ex-Cuban political prisoner... I don't think I can explain how repulsive it is for me to see "el Che" being portrayed as some kind of hero.... that said... this office was funded by volunteers.... not by Obama's campaign:
