Nothing too heavy; just thinking about life in the 21st century...
- Teen angst leads to possible matricide, and subsequent
mourning partying.
- U.S. and Brazil, in an effort to fight global warming, announce ethanol partnership. The price of tacos to rise.
- Social services in Europe provide the masses with some very excellent healthcare. It's no wonder, considering effective tax rates around 50%!
- Ron Ballew links to the efforts of some Seattle
teachers marxists attempting to preach on the evils of owning private property.
- The Mayor of Los Angeles and an L.A. Unified School District superintendent were riding a school bus. The school bus gets tagged by a
student tagger on his way to school (see a photo of the tagging). Now the mayor wants to mentor the student tagger, but is frustrated he must follow the same regulations as anyone else in order to become a mentor.
- Crunchy Con reminds us that, following James Cameron's claims that he's found the Lost Tomb of Jesus, that we've not seen embassies burned, people killed, or any other rage from those fanatical Christians around the world.
Great point about Cameron's film. I won't be strapping a suicide belt to myself anytime soon, just because they have statistics proving they've found Jesus' bones.
