Joe Carter (of both Evangelical Outpost & FRC Blog) writes about the potentially dubious actions of Congress in their de-funding of the "Baby AIDS" program. The democrat party line is that the de-funding was simply the result of earmark reform. However, as Joe reports, there is language being added to the bill which explicitly excludes the infant AIDS program from receiving funds.
To top it all off, Joe clues us in to what other portions of our tax dollars are being used for in the name of stopping AIDS (reference Abstinence Clearinghouse and scroll down the page).
Liberals, accustomed to claiming that our troops in Iraq do not have adequate armor, may want to appropriate the 60 million dollars currently used to fund erotic writing workshops in San Francisco.
