I will usually shoot the image in RAW format without in-camera filters or settings applied. Then I'll convert the image to monochrome in post-editing (e.g., Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.). Canon has its own software, Digital Photo Professional, that will let you convert images into monochrome. You should have Digital Photo Professional on the CD that came with your camera. If not, you can download it from the Canon website.
Hey i was wondering how did you take this pictures in monochrome. I also have a canon xt and i have no idea how to set it up in monochrome monde.
