My wife and I spent a weekend, in early December, along California's Central Coast, in the small town of Cambria. Driving north, up the coast, we passed through a small storm that was heading southwest. Upon our arrival we found an unusually low tide, with a few wisps of clouds remaining from the storm.

Great photo!

My favorite of the posted images. Maybe I am partial to black and white, but I like the sense of space created by including the clouds high above and the pristine sands of the beach (ala Ansel Adams). Shows creative intuition and is not just any well-exposed snapshot.

I created a new photochallenge for the black and white photographs.
I would be very happy if you submit one of your photographs.
